RMA Process

An Aigean Networks Merchandise Authorization (RMA) allows customers to return defective products to Aigean for a replacement. Aigean offers many options that should satisfy the unfortunate need to replace your Aigean Networks product under warranty as quickly and as painlessly as possible.


  1. Submit an RMA request.
    • Provide as much information about your problem as you can.
    • Include warranty information if applicable.
    • Select your RMA option. (details below)
    • Select your shipping option for how you would like to receive the repaired or replacement product.
  2. Wait for RMA Approval.
  3. If cross-ship or out-of-warranty RMA option was selected, follow the procedure detailed in the approval to provide payment information.
  4. Ship product back to Aigean, following our shipping guidelines.
  5. Once received, Aigean will assess the condition of the product and make a determination for the best course of action. You will be contacted if any additional approval is required.
  6. Aigean will send a replacement or refurbished product back to you.


Standard RMA

  • This option is for products in an active warranty period.
  • Assuming the product received is in a condition covered by the warranty, a repaired or replacement product will be sent back to you.

Cross-Ship RMA

  • This option is for products in an active warranty period.
  • After your RMA has been accepted and payment information has been received for collateral, a refurbished product will be shipped out immediately.
  • Your existing warranty terms and expiration date still apply.
  • You will then be responsible for shipping your defective product back to Aigean, following our shipping guidelines.
  • Upon receipt of your product, without damage, Aigean will refund the collateral paid in full. Your original product MUST be returned to Aigean within your 15 day RMA approval window in order to receive your collateral returned.
  • The complete refund process may take 7-14 business days.

Out-of-Warranty RMA

  • This option is for products not currently covered by warranty.
  • Upon receipt of your product, all components will be thoroughly tested. We will contact you regarding what components need to be replaced and at what cost and collect payment information if you elect to repair the unit.
  • You will be responsible for covering all shipping charges.
  • A 90-day warranty will be given to your repaired unit.


Once Aigean receives your RMA request, the RMA will be reviewed within one (1) business day. In order to approve your RMA, Aigean will need a copy of the purchase invoice or receipt for the product you need replaced.

Shipping Method

  • You are free to use the shipping method and courier of your choice. Aigean recommends UPS and FedEx.
  • Aigean recommends you obtain delivery confirmation and a tracking number for your shipment so you have proof of delivery.
  • Insurance is highly recommended, but is optional, and may allow you to file a claim in the event of a lost or damaged shipment. Aigean is not responsible for undelivered packages or damage incurred during shipping.
  • Aigean is not responsible for any local customs charges. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Aigean, including any import duties.
  • Products received in any type of shipping envelope or soft packaging material will be immediately rejected. Products must be packaged appropriately to prevent physical damage to products.

VOID Warranty Policy

Your Aigean product must be free of physical damage or modification. Products received with physical damage (excessively damaged cases, any damage to the circuit board(s), water damage, etc), internal tampering, or missing the serial number sticker will be returned to the customer or may incur a service charge upon receiving the item. If your product is received damaged, Aigean will contact you with information and options to assist with filing a claim or offering a repair fee to avoid the product losing it's warranty.
